Marquette track and field head coach Bert Rogers and head cross country and assistant track and field coach Mike Nelson have announced the signing of five athletes to National Letters of Intent for the upcoming 2008-09 season.

The trio of freshmen the Marquette track and field team sent to the 2008 USA Junior Outdoor Track and Field Championships finished up competition Sunday afternoon at Jesse Owens Memorial Stadium in Columbus, Ohio.
